We are seeking skilled and experienced Mechanics from Ghana to join our team in Dubai on a direct employment visa. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults in vehicles, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanic
  • Valid certification or diploma in Automotive Repair or related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Salary

Competitive salary of 1,500 AED (approximately GHC 6,300) per month

Responsibilities

  • A mechanic’s responsibilities typically involve maintaining, repairing, and inspecting vehicles or machinery to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently. Below are some of the key responsibilities a mechanic may have:
    1. Diagnosing Issues:
      • Inspecting and diagnosing mechanical issues in vehicles, machines, or equipment using diagnostic tools and methods.
      • Troubleshooting problems to determine the root cause of malfunctions, whether it's electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic.
    2. Repairs and Replacements:
      • Repairing or replacing faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, exhaust systems, electrical systems, and more.
      • Conducting tests after repairs to ensure the problem is fully resolved and systems are functioning correctly.
    3. Preventative Maintenance:
      • Performing routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
      • Ensuring that vehicles or equipment remain in good condition by conducting regular checks and preventative maintenance tasks.
    4. Upgrading and Modifying:
      • Installing new systems or upgrading existing ones (e.g., adding custom parts, updating software, or improving vehicle performance).
      • Modifying parts or systems to meet customer specifications or improve performance.
    5. Customer Service:
      • Communicating with customers about vehicle issues and recommending solutions.
      • Explaining repairs, maintenance schedules, and costs to clients.
      • Providing accurate time estimates for repairs or services.
    6. Documentation:
      • Maintaining records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
      • Keeping track of vehicle maintenance history and service schedules.
    7. Safety and Compliance:
      • Ensuring that all repairs and maintenance comply with safety standards and regulations.
      • Using proper safety equipment and procedures when handling hazardous materials, such as chemicals and fluids.
    8. Test Driving:
      • Performing test drives to verify repairs and ensure vehicles operate correctly after maintenance or repairs.
    9. Tools and Equipment Maintenance:
      • Using a wide range of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery.
      • Ensuring that tools and equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and stored.
    10. Specialized Skills:
      • Depending on the type of mechanic (e.g., automotive, diesel, aircraft), specialized knowledge and skills may be required to work on specific systems or vehicles.
